Conga Line
Maracas and straw hats are passed out
during dancing. Conga Line winds
through room.
YMCA
Five "Party Guys" are called to the front to act out the song; each is
given a hat. Gals are given a dollar to stuff in their favorite dancer.
Lots of great pictures and fun.
Hula Hoops
Variety of games ... Hula-hoop competition to see who can last the
longest or Human Ring Toss. All while the music is playing.
Survivor Game
Eight contestants are chosen from the crown. Once on stage, a
contestant picks a number. The number will decide what the
competition will be. Example -- "Do your best John Travolta
from Saturday Night Fever". The audience votes, by applause,
and the one with the least amount of applause is voted off the
island. Another number is picked, and another contest begins.
This is repeated until one contestant is left and declared the
winner. With dimmed house lights and green stage lights
(provided by the DJ), this is a great game.
Stuff a Person
Two teams of five people each. Pick the smallest person from
each team who puts on a union suit (pajama that buttons and
goes from head to toe). Each team is given a number of balloons
and when the music starts, the team blows up the balloons and
"stuffs" them into the union suit. When the music stops, the
person with the most balloons is declared the winner. Great for
pictures.
Mummy Wrap
Two teams with a lot of toilet paper and props. When the music
begins, one person is wrapped with the toilet paper and props
are added, as needed (props, such as sunglasses, hats, etc.).
At the end of the song, a winner is declared by applause.
Karaokee
Mixes well between games.
Dance Lessons
DJ will teach many of the popular dances; Macarena, YMCA,
Country Line Dance, Cha Cha Cha, Electric Slide, Chicken Dance
and others.
Other Games
May include Tricycle Races, Spot Dances, Walla Balla and others.
